Nha Trang is a place where the sea still has all its liveliness — and for Muslim travellers, a close cultural thread to the Cham people as well. Five days to both relax by the coast and explore a region rich in heritage.
The sea and its islands
A canoe takes the group out to Hon Tam and Hon Mun — golden sand, clear water, and coral reefs to dive among. The afternoon is for the hot mineral mud bath, a private style of relaxation that families especially enjoy. For dinner, Omar's Indian restaurant in the central beach area serves garlic-butter curry and naan baked in a clay oven.
The Cham legacy
Half of Nha Trang is sea air; the other half is cultural depth. The group visits Ponagar Tower — a complex of fired-brick temples on a hill overlooking the harbour — which preserves the Cham heritage at the root of the Islamic community along the central coast.
Back to the city
The journey ends in Ho Chi Minh City, with a stroll through "Little Malaysia" near the west gate of Ben Thanh Market before the flight home. Nha Trang is far enough to leave the noise behind, and thoughtful enough that no traveller need worry.
