Ten days to travel through Vietnam's most representative destinations, from thousand-year-old Thang Long to the floating markets of the Mekong — enough to sense the country's cultural depth and way of life.
Days 1–4 — Hanoi & Halong Bay
Begin in Hanoi with the 36 old streets and a hot bowl of pho in the morning. The group continues to Hoa Lu – Tam Coc, riding a rowing boat through lotus ponds and limestone cliffs. Then comes a night aboard a cruise in Halong Bay, gliding among thousands of rocky islands.
Days 5–7 — Hoi An
A flight brings you to central Vietnam. Hoi An appears gently along the Hoai River, with its mossy old houses and evening lanterns. You stroll the old town, try net-fishing in the Bay Mau coconut forest, then continue on to Saigon.
Days 8–10 — The Mekong Delta
Saigon is the stop before you head down to the Mekong Delta. There, coconut-shaded canals are busy with boats carrying mangosteen and rambutan from the orchards — a river way of life all its own.
Best suited to travellers from Europe and the Americas with about ten days who want to cover all three regions.
