The group lands in Venice (Italy), spends a night on the water, then follows Lake Garda to Milan. Next comes the Côte d'Azur in southern France: the sunlit promenade of Nice, the famous casino of Monaco and the film-festival city of Cannes.

The most rewarding part is the journey through the French countryside. The group follows the ancient Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard and visits Toulouse — home of the Airbus aircraft company. In the Gers region, you taste foie gras and visit the homeland of the musketeer D'Artagnan. The journey continues with the Cognac house of Hennessy and the UNESCO-listed wine village of Saint-Émilion, with a stop at the Futuroscope park in Poitiers before returning to Paris.
